We usually use companies that we know or are recommended to us. There were no reviews on them. We made a big mistake! We used this company because we thought they were local, in Kent. The teams came from Norfolk- the pile drivers and base layers. We had a cheaper quote and Richard, the director, said he would price match. However he did not include the cost of the pump for the concrete and he used 20% more concrete than was specified by the structural engineer. The work was not up to our standard. The slab was not level or square. The bricklayers wasted half a day setting out. Richard visited the site on several occasions. We argued about the final invoice. When asked 3 times to put his hand on his heart and declare he was proud of the completed job- he just ignored us. Needless to say we would not recommend anyone to contract this untrustworthy company.

We used L&J Projects Ltd for piling and groundworks for a new garage built on a challenging sloped site. Richard was highly professional, kept in touch throughout the project which was completed in time, on budget and to a very high standard. Highly recommended.

Richard and his team have carried out various contracts for me and I cannot praise them enough, they take care of all the design and calculations needed then install piles and foundations as required very often in extremely tight and difficult circumstances. As we were about to start building an extension, it appeared we needed deep piling rather than traditional foundations. We got in touch with L&J. They came right away, and managed to squeeze our project in between jobs, sent two crews, and got the job done.
